My dd doesn't have that but she did have her corpus callosum cut when she was 13 months old. She had whats called a modified hemispherectomy which is when they split the two halves of the brain and remove most of one of the halves. For her, she is missing most of her right hemisphere. It was done to achieve seizure control. She has a few dx.'s due to surgery(and a few that she may have obtained without it)...they are Asperger's Syndrome, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, ADD, and mood disorder NOS. She also has trouble with empathy and attatchment. At her last neuropsychological exam, she was tested in at low borderline for the full scale IQ. She was very depressed at the time and that has resolved to a certain extent so I'm thinking and have been told that depression can affect the scores. She's definitely very immature for her age.

Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your son.
