My son is breastfed and at 1 year, I am planning on weaning him to cows milk for during the day at the sitter's. Any advice? I am pumping to mix BM with cow's milk gradually changing to 100% cows milk, but not sure what else I can do to make this process easier on him.

I asked my pediatrician about the mix inbetween cow's milk and BM and he couldn't give a straight answer. When my DD turned 1 in Feb I went to cow's milk during the day and BF'd at night.

Lots of Luck on your adventure!

I second this question. Any experience with weaning to other sorts of milk?

It is suggested that you introduce cow’s milk only when your baby has been enjoying also easily digesting some simple solid foods.
