Anything exciting to report? What was most memorable? Was Santa good to you? What are you most looking forward too in the new year of 2010?

My kids were blessed, my DH surpassed my expectations on his generosity w/ me for the "surprise" gift...again. And I am looking forward to a new year w/ out the "drama" and "better health"...recovery.

We were home for Christmas as a family... something that for days before I was worried wouldn't happen (Joey's been coughing, but docs assure me that he is fine).

Most memorable... we took the kids to the park and watching Joey run around. Last year he was so sick on Christmas that he just laid in my arms... big change.

Santa was good to my kids and thats what mattered.

For 1010... I am looking forward to the end of IV chemo. While oral chemo will continue, IV chemo ends in 20 weeks.

Christmas eve was horrible (both vehicles stuck in snow drifts, digging them out, etc etc, etc) but because of it, my neighbors were trapped in the house and we invited them over. It was fun to have a full house at MY house for Christmas.

Gifts were wonderful. DH did a much better job than last year, lol. Carrie got so much she doesn't know what to do with it all. Only bad part of Christmas day was thatit's very over stimulating for Carrie so there was some crying and I hated thatshe couldn't enjoy gifts the way other children do.

This coming year I'm looking forward to the arrival of our second and LAST child. I'm hoping that Carrie can catch up this year and looking forward to things steadying out with DH's job.

Christmas was beautiful for us. I let go of worries and cares for a few days and just enjoyed my kids being kids! Santa was definitely good to them, and wasn't a slouch for me either. Most memorable was probably the boys sitting side by side playing playdough... Danny actually got into it for a bit, and even having to stop him from eating it was a blessing with all the troubles we had for a while getting him to put anything in his mouth.

For 2010, I hope for words for Danny, continued health, and finally being able to let go of my fear for Danny's development.

Christmas was okay. Ava started having more seizures lately and she had croup. Other than that....

Thank you, tasha_mae, for my siggy!
