I've been feeling kind of down lately, Kaiden aside from his balance improving, hadn't made any new accomplishments for awhile and I was starting to wonder if switching his vitamins was the right thing to do or if I should go back to the others, even if it means really nasty diaper blowouts.

He's been pretty cranky lately which doesn't help. Molars, need I say more.

Tonight, he actually grabbed my hand every time I brought the spoon to his mouth . . . he hasn't done that for a long time! Actually, his feedings lately have been almost impossible bc all he wants to do is blow raspberries with a big mouthful of food. Or scream during feedings. Or both. Yeah, lots of fun for me.

Then, tonight, he actually sat up on his own!!!!! Granted it was from a reclined position, not flat on his back, but hey, I'll take it! And did it more than once!! He's been doing great sitting unassisted the last 3 weeks, but tonight he was just happily sitting on my lap, correcting his balance without any help from me whatsoever. Then he leaned forward and actually used his arms for weight bearing! He has been leaning forward but never wants to use his arms/hands, especially not for weight bearing!!

I just wanted to cry with happiness!!!

Tomorrow is a therapy day . . . we normally have them all come at the same time for convenience (bc Kaiden didn't do much) but now that Kaiden is actually doing stuff I think we need to have them come individually so each therapist gets a whole hour with him.
