I seriously considered it for my next birth because I had a hard time finding a provider that I felt would give me a true try at my VBAC when the time actually came. I even interviewed multiple midwifes for homebirth over the phone and schedule to meet with one. The only reason I did not ultimately go that route for my VBAC is because I lucked out and found a wonderful midwife group who has great natural birth and VBAC rates and is well respected. The downside is I'm having to travel an hour each way for all of my appointments to use them.
Expecting #3 in January 2016!

With DS3 we planned a home birth after c-section. It didn't happen because in the end I needed some pain management. If you find the right midwife it's a fantastic option if you're looking for a natural unmedicated birth.

You are so brave! I would LOVE to have a home birth, but after having an emergency c-section I'd be scared to try until I had a natural birth first. I hope you get your wonderful birth experience!

I have had homebirths after two sections. They went wonderfully, no problems.

I had my first vbac in a hospital but my last 2 births were hbac's and I am planning my 3rd hbac. Wishing you the very best with whatever you choose!

If we have another baby I would plan for a HBAC. Have three prior unmedicated natural deliveries (including a homebirth), it seems like a reasonable decision.
