DH and I got Wii Fit a couple of days ago, but tried it for the first time last night. It is awesome!! You stand on the board that comes with it, and it weighs you, tells you your BMI, and even tells you where your center of balance is so you can adjust your posture. You can also set a goal of how many pounds you would like to lose in a specific time frame, and you can adjust your goal every two weeks if need be. It lets you know what your BMI will be when you get to that goal.

It does have a 330lb weight limit on it, which I find really silly since the board is extremely sturdy and could hold more weight than that, I'm sure.

The games are great. There are balancing games like ski slalom, all sorts of yoga exercises, strength training with push-ups, etc, and aerobics exercises. DH and I went on a 3 minute run in our living room last night!

I became a fitness expert last night, and, apparently, have great balance. The yoga poses were a lot of fun. I did them pretty easily, but DH was hilarious! You should have seen him trying to do the tree one. It was great!

It's really a lot of fun, and exercise like you wouldn't believe. I suggest that those of you that have Wii's get one!

Does anyone else have it?

I know that some of the ladies on the weightloss and fitness board have them. I've heard great things about them so far. DH and I have been considering getting a Wii. I really think this is pushing me towards getting one.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my new siggy!

We haven't been able to even get a Wii down here let alone the Wii Fit but my brother told us they were all over the place where he lives so he bought us a Wii and the Wii fit. We are amazed that he can just go to a store and get one just like that. Hopefully it will be getting here soon.

They have the wii fit all over the place here but the hard part is finding the Wii. The guy in electronics at walmart actually told us that before the truck is unloaded the limited amount they have on the truck is sold to the employees before it's even off the truck. I don't think that's fair at all =( We've looked EVERYWHERE!

I really want it but we have to get the Wii first and it's kind of pricey, maybe in a couple of months when I get up to date w/everything
