I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm trying to find a more calm and respectful environment for ttc talk as my current one on FB is getting a little crazy! Anyways, my name is Christina and I am 34 and DH is 32. We got married in 2008 and I was on BC for 2+ years. I've went off in early 2011 just because the side effects were getting to me and I gained weight on it. So we were ntnp for 1 1/2 years with no bfp. So finally, I decide to figure out what my cycles were like and I began charting about a year ago. Found out that I do ovulate based on my charts. Did that for several months but got fed up (no bfp) so I stopped and started using opks. I could never get a real positive with those. So we have been at it for the past year on and off with no success. My DH had a SA done in January and everything was normal but his testosterone was on the low side of normal (might explain his lower sex drive !!!!) So, we purchased the cbfm and we are on our 2nd cycle. I am leery of going to see a specialist because I am overweight and my friend said all they told her was that she needed to lose weight. I was told when I was younger I had endo, but that wasn't based on any tests except that I had bad cramps. My plan for now is diet and exercise and we're going to use the monitor for 6 months and if no success I'm gonna see someone. Well, that's my story. I hope to meet some great women on here! Praying for that sticky bean!
