Hello ladies! I'm not sure if I qualify as "secondarily infertile" or not. I do have three children and have not been able to conceive after more than 2 years of trying, but none of my children belong to my current DH (who has no children) so we don't know yet if it's me or him.

But, in any case, I thought this might be a good forum to meet other ladies who are TTC and already have children. I've been on the Older TTC board and the TTC +1 Year board for awhile now.

I'm in the same boat. I have 2 children and DH and I are TTC #3. He's not their biological father though so they're trying to figure out if it's me or him. Since my children were both the results of trying to avoid my OB suspects a fertility issue since we just hit cycle 6. She figures that with my track record if it were going to happen it would've happened by now. DH hasn't been able to get in for testing yet though so we're still in the dark about what's going on.

Has your doctor done any testing yet to find out what's holding back your TTC efforts?
~Thanks Babydoll213 for my awesome siggie!~

Hi! I'm glad to see your joining us over here. I am also in that situation. I have two beautiful kids from my first marriage, and now trying for #3 with their step dad. The only thing that sounds different is taht with us, we are pretty sure the problem is with me. We ordered a test online (www.early-pregnancy-tests.com) that checked his sperm motility and my FSH levels. Both came back normal, so I have good eggs, and he has enough swimming sperm. Now we are having the doctor check and make sure none of those swimmers are deformed, or just swimming around in circles afraid to ask directions like most men! The problem really seems to lie with my progesterone levels. I've been charting for almost a year, and my luteal phase is getting shorter and shorter, and I'm ovulating later and later. Hopefully some Clomid and then progesterone after O will help us because timing hasn't been an issue in the past 2 years either.

Welcome to the group, and realize that you aren't alone. There are several of us here in the same boat.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my new siggy!
