My last DS was on base in Japan (there was no going off base lol). It was okay. I had an issue with my epidural (didn't work and I could feel the needle in my spine the entire time) and apparently a few other women had different issues even though it was done by different docs. Some of the corpsman were idiots and some were great... same with the doctors. I had my first two at a civilian hospital and it was a better experience. I'm pregnant again and still debating about switching to a civilian hospital and dealing with the bills... since I'm not just switching... it wasn't THAT bad... but just in case, I'm not getting an epidural this time!
Wife to Anthony since March 2004 and Mommy to 3 boys(Blake-6, Owen-4, & Vinny-2) and a little princess, Kara
