Right now I feel I can sum it up in one word.

Waiting to find out when things are happening.
waiting for them to leave, so the countdown can be over so we can start waiting for them to come home.
Waiting to hear from them.

(feeling kinda glum about military life tonight I guess)

Thanks to Bokkechick for my siggy.

waiting is right....

hurry up and wait is what I here people say all the time.

When my husband deployed that's all it was ...wait to hear from him, wait to see him........wait on the plane that has been delayed in Germany.......lol

The word "chaotic" comes to mind...

Always a new base, a new house, a new school, new friends. Your spouse coming and going....

I guess for me right now is stressful.

Will I be released in time to pick up kids before daycare closes. Who is going to watch the kids when I have to do TDY and their father is deployed or away.

Other than that military life for me is usually me asking this question

We are seriously going to ruck 12 miles walk through a creek carry a log then some. I thought I joined the easy branch.

I guess for me its also waiting and/or lack of sleep...

I stay up late waiting... hoping to catch him online, I can't fall into a deep sleep in fear that I will miss my phone ringing, incase its him... and like now, its 5am and Im up becuz he's online, and IF I'm lucky, I'll get to talk to him for 20 minutes before he has to go again.
