Has your Dh/So ever surprised you by coming home early from a deployment or TDY??!

Josh keeps talking about surprising me. He said he's going to have a friend drive him home from the airport. I don't know if I like this idea. I love being at the airport with my homecoming shirt and sign.

DH had annual training in Japan, I think the first year he was with the NG. I was out with his family at the pumpkin patch and when I opened the door at home he was there. I was so mad that he didn't call me to tell me he was coming home but so glad to have him home too.

we used to talk about when our husbands come home from this deployment "what if" they surprised us... but when all of us wives have our husbands deployed together, it'd take a lot of ppl keeping it a secret.. cuz if they said their husbands were coming home.. it would mean that mine was too etc... I dont know how I'd feel about being surprised cuz seeing that plane come thru the clouds was one of the best feelings I've ever felt!

I'm in the Air Force and my hubby has separated from the military recently, so I haven't had the chance. But I'd love to surprise him when a deployment comes around.

Yes! My brother got it on video, so it was posted on one of those military homecoming sites. He had been gone for 4 months and was supposed to fly home in 3 weeks, but drove all night to surprise us, only telling my brother.

It would be nice to see a role reversal sometime!
