this is her husband..she wanted me to let you guys know what was going on.

I took her to the er tonight because she was having contractions. They have admitted her for at least the night or until they can stop them. She has an iv which they are giving her stuff to stop them. If they can stop them she can come home if not she has to stay there.

I came home to grab some thing and the lab top for her so she can update you all on how she is doing and to give her something to do.

so they let me come home but im on pelvic bed rest...

what an awful night. My contractions kept getting closer and closer together and were about 2-3 mins apart. They were able to stop them thank god. I am still having contractions but only about 2-4 an hour so as long as they don't increase I am able to stay home and rest. They have me on meds to control them but its makes me have the shakes and I feel sick from them. But small price to pay I guess.

I am dialated to about 2, I have a follow up appointment on tuesday so hopefully these meds keep the contractions down and I don't dialate more.

so here I sit board out of my mind and I can't do anything but pretty much sit around or get up to pee.

Glad ur home!!

I went into premature labor at 31 weeks and was admited to the hospital for a 6.5 weeks, now that was fun. I wasn't even allowed to get up and pee.. I had to pee in a bed pan. So at least ur home . .

My SIL had the same problem with her 2nd pregnancy and was able to keep the baby in there until just past 37 weeks. My neice was born perfectly healthy!

I'm glad you're home and ok!!

make sure dh does everything for you! i was on pelvic rest for the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy with lily (i had a subchorionic hemmhorage and i lost her twin) and my dh would do things half butt and then i would have to fix them. and then i would start bleeding. so not cool.

so keep your pelvis on that couch and sleep! becuase once baby gets here ins 12 weeks thats the one thing you are gonna be missing and wishing you did when you were pregnant.

feel better.
