This is probably something really simple but for some reason I can't figure it out.

Is there any way to copy and paste just one layer of a .psd file into another? I know you can use the Magic Wand to select something, but that really hard to do with images with a lot of detail.

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking.. but you can drag layers.

If I wanted to move the cutout pic into another document, I would just click on it with the move tool (that looks like a mouse pointer) and drag it down into my other document. Does this make sense? And did I even answer your question LOL
