So I downloaded a bunch of photo effects plug ins from the Gimp registry. I installed them in my scripts folder (they were all .scm files) - confirmed their locations through Preferences -> Folders -> Scripts - and when I click Script Fu, the only choices I have are Layer Effects and Shape Paths.

According to the Read Me files I should now have "Photo Effects" on there. I've shut down & restarted and tried double checking - where did all my new scripts go? I was so excited to try them out!

Anyone have any ideas? Did I install wrong?

Are they compatible with your version of gimp?

Yeah, I realized that I'd downloaded stuff for 2.4, and I have 2.6. But I finally tried it again and found them hidden! They did install but somehow they ended up hidden in the Gimpressionist menu (this set came with Presets and I think that is why...) Anyways, they've been found! Thanks for your help!
