Has anyone had the issue of having left over meds from IVF protocol? I have some Menopur, Ovidrel, and Ganirelix left over from our treatment and we were thankfully successful on our first try. Preggo now with a baby boy at 35 weeks. Any ideas?

A lot of ladies are able to donate them to their RE's office to give to patients who can't afford meds. Mine doesn't take them though. I sent mine to a friend on JM. Also, I've seen ladies post them on freegaragesale.com to sell them.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Yes I heard some RE do take donations. Will have to check if mine does. I would hate to waste it and unfortunately the left over ones are the expensive kind too. Hmm will check out the website you posted. thanks!

Wish I had seen your post earlier, I just went out to get my ovidrel filled yesterday, with the understanding that the 1 injection was going to be about $50.00 and to find out it was double that. I pray that it works the first go around.

freegaragesale or privately sale/donate to others also going through IVF. I am in the surrogacy world and we tend to pass extra meds around to cut costs for everyone still trying.

I have a bunch of Gonal F, Menopur, Cetrotide and Novarel left over from IVF #2. It was successful and I'm 14 weeks pregnant, but I want to hold on to everything for a few more months. Probably around June/July I will feel "safe" enough to part with them. I need some extra money, so I'm going to try to sell my meds.
