Baby2014, They scheduled my ER for Thursday. I take Lupron tonight at 8:45, I am sooo excited. They are thinking a fresh transfer on the 4th of March. There were 17 larger follicles and 10 smaller ones. One benefit of PCOS, I guess. Haha. I love that we are on the same cycle. It is so fun to have someone to go through this with! BTW, the peeing is a great sign they told me today (I have to pee all the time too) they said it is an indicator that you don't have OHSS. Yay!

jracine- all sounding good. We'll all be thinking of you tomorrow!

April18 and Liyana- let us know when you have updates to share!!

AmyMPerkins the next 16 days are going to go by quick.

Lisa, so glad AF came. Your FET will be here before you know it.

I hope I didn't forget anyone- I love hearing about ALL of your stories!

Can you refresh my memory? How many days did you stim for, what meds were you on and what trigger shot did they do? What are your FSH and/or AMH levels? Were you on Lupron?

I'm not sure. I got AF on Friday, they said to start estrogen on CD3 (Sunday) and they are calling me tomorrow with my schedule/protocol...I'll update when I find out

JILLK....how are you doing? ((HUGS))

I was told AF would come after the 28th of later, because of the effect of Lupron on "women my age". I started today. A full 4 days early. We were planning to start stimming on Monday to align closer with the time my husband can take off work. Any idea how starting early may relate to how I respond to the meds? Anyone start their AF earlier than the RE thought they would?

KELKL
I'll be so happy to get relief!! Lol my ER is at 7:45 am but I told my hubby 6:30... He is notoriously late!!! Can't be late for this one!!! I've really learned a lot from these post! I'm afraid to hope for a fresh transfer though because they are already telling me that I won't get to... Still, I am happy you are having signs of a good fresh transfer to come.

I'm not sure I told ya but I also have pcos but I didn't realize that's why we have so many eggs. I hope they find some good ones to use! It's about quality over quantity! Can't wait to get your stats!

That includes you too April!!! Good luck Saturday!!

Amber
Everyone responds differently to the meds and the docs give out different doses different brands... But if you responded well during iui then you can base it off that. For Kelkl and I we respond well with lots of follicles but we just never got pregnant. Her dr had her start slow on stim and mine went high 225 follistem and 75 Menopur. But we are having retrieval done exactly when they charted and so is Kelkl. My husband starts a new job next week but I thought he was starting this week. I begged for am retrieval and for Wednesday not Thursday and they will not accommodate because its not about your schedule... It's about your body's schedule! Lol just accept it and you'll be less stressed!

I was on 1000 pregnyl for my trigger? I ony did 8 days of stims (Gonal-F and Ganirelix), my body reacted quick and by day 6 I had 3 over 20cm, and 3 close to 20. But its my first time so I think all of this is just a learning experience... and my Dr never told me my levels.

I really hope for a bfp this time, but I kinda dont expect it my forst go around... everyone says I'm impatient and I'm going to start testing with home tests right away... they're right about me being impatient, but not about the testing.... after you go long enough hoping and testing with nothing but negatives, its hard to get excited and think, it could really happen.

Sorry... Ranting... just scared. My ET is today. Then comes the long 2 week wait...

You must be all nerves right now!!! Eeek! It's your day and anything can happen! How many did you transfer? Please come back and share because we will be thinking about you! It's ok to rant here, that's what we are here for! Just remember that if you do test then you want to start early to see negative go to positive... But don't put too much on your findings... You'll that roller coaster ride won't be so fun! Good luck!

Keep us posted jracine!!

Totally random question....did anyone have major bruising and itching with lupron?? First time on it and this itching is driving me insane. It's not every injection spot, just some of them. Just trying to figure out if this is normal?

I only used Lupron for my trigger but yes, it itched. The ganirelix really itched too! Totally normal on both.

I used Lupron for my trigger as well and YES that thing did itch ...and was red around the injection site, but I was lucky enough not to get bruising from any of it. The pharmacist did tell me I could take it out of the ice box for 30min prior to the injection so it wouldn't sting (and It didn't)!

Hi all. Sorry for being so quiet. Just wanted to let everyone know we transferred these cuties today. Hoping for the best. Today I'm taking it easy and keeping my feet warm, but tomorrow it's off to work as usual.

Love it, neji! Prayers headed your way!

My lupron isn't for my trigger. I started it Saturday and I continue to take it until the 10th (I think that's the day....I have to verify tomorrow). I start menopur Friday and estrogen gel Sunday. The 10th is the day I have to take my chorionic gonadotropin (hcg) with me and she will mix it and tell us exactly when to take it (it's my trigger shot). We aren't using the ganirelix this time like we did last time. I just double checked my lupron (or leuprolide acetate...generic form) and the storage directions for it are 68-77 degrees so no refrigeration. I was worried I had missed something on that after seeing what you said, Lisa. Today's injection didn't itch...thank you, God!

It's ok! When I saw that it made me double check it. I didn't look too closely when I got it to be honest because the girls are awesome at our clinic about telling us the storage info as well as how and when to take the medicines and she hadn't said anything about refrigeration. When it came in, I glanced at the package label and didn't see a refrigeration sticker (like comes on some of my regular medicines) and I didn't look hard to make sure there was one. Better safe than sorry so I should really thank you for the quick scare. Next time (hopefully there won't be a next time) I'll be more careful about looking!
