Something Irish for Patty's Day...

This is just how I do it....

1 3lb brisket (corned beef)
1 lb of baby carrots
2 or 3 medium potatoes
1 or 2 lbs cabbage.

Just dump from the package the whole brisket into the crockpot. Juices and all. Open seasoning packet and empty in there also. Add a couple cups of water. Cook on low about half of the day.

About two or three hours before dinner time... Add carrots, halve potatoes and halve again. Throw em in there too. I cut up the cabbage into 8ths it doesn't take up so much room that way, toss em in. Add more water if needed. Cook away till done.

I have a 5qt pot.. It barely all fits.
