Before I get into this... this is a true story, I couldn't fabricate this is I wanted too & I am literally terrified of birds.

All of my life, for whatever reason, birds have followed me. Literally fly into my house when a window was down & into my son's bedroom (who is now almost 10 but was not even 1 at the time, maybe 6 mos.). I have also had a yellow finch decide that my car would be a great place to hang out, again...the bird was in my car, not normal.

Recently, there was what I thought to be a "raccoon" of some sort in my basement, it was loud & scary. I had a bball bat, turned out to be a "baby bird" (they're loud). Then there was the crane, yes, a crane, walking beside my mini-van one day, looking at me like as if to say "can I get a ride?" oh...cranes, they are like 4' tall w/ REALLY long legs & walk slowly. Then last October-ish, I had a wild turkey in my yard, which....I wouldn't have minded except he/she eventually saw it's reflection in my mini-van & started to peck at my new vehicle. The darn turkey (kids called him Charlie) wouldn't leave my car alone, even w/ my panic button screaming at him. He kept coming back to check himself out. I don't know.

Today's incident: I have a wood burning stove. And I heard & saw a finch in my wood burning stove through the glass. Flapping it's wings, tweeting & all that jazz. Someone decided to "help me" out w/ this situation & when they opened the stove, nothing was there, like he/she escaped. All of a sudden, which I could see it coming, the freaking bird flew out of the stove & is in my family room! I flew myself into the couch w/ my hands/arms over my head, my kids are screaming & I hear a "thud"...the bird hit the slider window/door, even though we had opened it. So the bird is no longer in my house, great, but seriously, every time I turn, there is a freaking bird around me, what's up w/ that?

Now I do not consider myself superstitious, but I'm starting to wonder, why I have birds around me all the time. Even when I go to a park, there are birds there, close by, and when I go to Home Depot or Lowe's, the birds, are always flying above me. What does this all mean? I don't like birds, I am not an animal lover (sorry for those who are, no disrespect), why do they continue to "haunt" me where ever I go?

I think that I am going to research what it means when birds follow a person. I think that it is crazy. I wish that I had been there though

Thank you ~* Helen *~ for the best all about me siggie! You are absolutely fabulous!
