Last year, we had to put a new furnace, super water tank in the whole nine, cost us all of our savings. This year, we "wanted" to finish our kitchen, counter tops & a new island area to do work on. Yesterday, it was brought to our attention by a plumber ($70 to tell me this & do nothing) that our Septic needed to be cleaned. Septic dude shows up at 5:45pm, does the Septic thing, explained to my DH how to clean the filter in there on his own every six months & how Rid-X is a waste of time & scam. Then.. after writing a check for $260 (not in our budget this week but have no choice), he told us that he was very concerned about the leach field, that it was sinking in the back & unless it's just b/c of the constant rain & snow that we've had for a month straight, that will have to be fixed... ahem... a minumum of $30k, yes, not $300, not $3k, but $30k!

Okay so seriously, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot... I'm not in a good mood ladies. Aunt Flow is here & my babysitter that "was" to watch my kids while DH & I go out alone for our anniversay, bailed on us, last minute. Thanks, nice..really nice.

I need a BLEEPING vacation! Too bad I can't afford it.
