Or at least trying to pretend to be.

As I mentioned, Will & Clayton spent the weekend with their mom. Drop off went fine, but we had to cut her time a little short because we got winter weather and didn't want to be on the road when the snow started coming down. Anyway, Neely had band practice last night, so I picked them up. I called her when I was 2 minutes away. It was 5:47 and I told her I'd be there at 6. She said "oh, you're early, I'm still getting them packed up". Don't you know she made me wait in the car till EXACTLY 6:00 before she brought them out?!

And, apparently Clayton had some athletes foot on one of his feet and he didn't mention it itching to me or Neely, but she was just so concerned that we didn't know it was there. Well, I don't see him without socks, ever and I don't inspect them for problems. If he had mentioned that his foot was itching, I would have given him something. Anyway, it just really rubbed me the wrong way. She hadn't bothered to see them since New Year's Eve and now all of sudden she's so concerned about their health and safety. Whatever.

They alway have to find something you are doing wrong. It amazes me.

I am the same way. If they aren't complaining about something I don't check them out.
