Do you sign petitions, go to rallies, have you ever been involved in any protests over green issues?

Have you ever done any voluntary work for a green charity?

What's the most of an activist you've ever been, and are you more mellow now?

I sign petitions both for green issues and animal welfare online or when I see stands when I'm out and about. I also do fund-raising sometimes for the RSPCA, sell raffle tickets for them, that sort of thing.

I'm not a huge activist, I suppose I vote with my feet on certain things like only buying free range eggs and make-up that hasn't been tested on animals, but don't go out of my way to attend protests or rallies and don't know if I'd dare.

When he was younger my DP took part in protests including the "battle for the trees" which became well-known over here in the UK. He was arrested for his actions on one occasion and had to appear in court for it. I don't think he regrets it really because he feels he was in the right, but he hasn't taken part in anything like that since becoming a father because he wouldn't want to get in trouble and not be around for his children.

I am not a green activist unless you count spreading info about cloth diapering at local community events. I am more much focused about birth rights and babywearing.

I'm not an activist. I just focus on doing things for myself and family and hope leading by example is good enough.
