Just wanted to stop in and say Hi! Life has been busy. My name is Mary and I have 5 beautiful daughters. I was the host of this board a few years ago. How does time fly so fast? I now have 3 married daughters, 2 still at home, and 6 grandblessings: 3 boys, a girl, 1 in heaven and a girl on the way (due in July!). Hopefully I can get on here regularly and get this board moving. My picture is very outdated. I'll work on that soon.
As for my green journey, for those who don't know me: I became interested in a green, healthy life when I was a teenager. When I got married and could really implement what I was learning, life got more fun! I had all 5 girls naturally, cloth diapered off and on, breastfed and babywore all of them, made my own babyfood, shopped organic when finances allowed, managed an organic produce co-op, gardened, cooked from scratch, used reusable bags, our clothes were homemade, hand-me-downs or bought second-hand or on sale, and dried our clothes on the clothesline when possible. As the girls grew up, we grew together. I homeschooled them and we challenged each other and taught each other as we learned new things. We have all begun using homemade cleaning supplies, Mama cloth and diva cups, homemade personal care products such as toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizers, etc. Coconut oil is one of our favorite things! It is so exciting to see your children grow up and become even more amazing than you thought was possible! This is becoming a novel, so I'll close for now!
