Yeah, I can't just limit it to one.....

My top books of 2011 are In the Woods by Tana French and Nefertiti by Michelle Moran. Both great stories.

My least favorite of the year would be What a Lady Wants by Jennifer Crusie. I thought her books were okay at first, but the last few were terrible. Actually one I tried last year or rather the year before, I gave up after a chapter in - the scenario was ridiculous. I should have known better and not tried or at least not finish the book. But it was in the beginning of the year when I just wanted a chick lit for an easy read and I was still reading for reading's sake without being too selective. As the year went on, I started giving up on books or pushing off books if I wasn't into them.

So technically, it wasn't quite a disappointment since I didn't really have high expectations for it to begin with.

I think my biggest disappointment would be Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich. I love the Stephanie Plum series and think they are hilarious but in this one, I think she was trying to out-ridiculous herself. Which in turn, made it not so funny, but corny.
