Anyone else apart from me got a "thing" about nice writing materials, or am I just weird?

I do most of my writing on the computer now either into Word or directly into my blog.

However, historically, I would write my poetry in bed in nice hardbacked books and when the urge strikes late at night to either write poetry, jot down a channelling or note down ideas for my blog or Facebook page, I like to have a book to hand to scribble it in.

I have a nice collection of hardback writing books in different sizes for this reason, and pens in every room! I also have a couple of really nice pens I've been given as gifts. Writing materials is one of the things I ALWAYS appreciate as a present.

I have a slight obsession with making lists so I have notebooks all over. I will always pick up a new one, I have a beautiful leather cover that I use at work when I'm working.

I love pens. I colour code things. I have tons of different colours

We both have slight obsessions with pen and paper. To the point that I bought a fancy pen set for us for Christmas (and we've been good, we've only opened it to look, not used it LOL) this coming year. I'm sure we will fight over the fountain/calligraphy pen.

We don't go all out on paper/writing books though. Usually just cheap composition books are enough to get us through what we need.
