Since I was diagnosing with cancer (now in remission but still on chemo) I have anxiety, and panic attack and I am in mild depression. I was wondering if anyone knows the medication Effexor XR? Is anyone ever tried it? Does it work?
Thank in advance.

Effexor has the least side efects as far as weight...I used it for a while and I work in mental health. The only bad thing is you can't really miss a dose at all or you get weird headaches--they feel like your brain is shaking around in your head. But I've known people to do extremely well with it!!! Good luck!!! I would talk to a pharmacist too--they're the most knowledgeable as far as meds

Thank you Kellarazzi for my siggie!!

i was on Effexor ER...it worked well for my depression...but i lost my insurance and ran out of my meds on Thursday. ever since i'm dealing with nausia, severe hot flashes (i live in mn and it was 50 today please tell me how i'm sweating in 50 degrees lol) and have moments where my brain has a fuzzy feeling. dizzyness. and my moods are all over the place. so in all it works very well but dont stop suddenly!
