Does your school allow you to register yourself for classes online, or do you have to meet with an adviser to get scheduled?

The current semester was the first one we were able to register ourselves for. I love the feature. I just registered myself for my fall classes, and it took me all of 3 minutes to do. It's great that I didn't have to schedule an appointment and waste my time or my advisers time.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my new siggy!

We always schedule online. I think the only time that you have to register with an adviser is the first semester as a freshman student. But my school is very big on technology - everything is online and computerized.

We have to meet with our advisor before being allowed to register online. Luckily, my senior advisor only makes you physically meet with him once. After that, advisement can take place via email.
