Here are a couple of my DS - rearfacing on a school bus. The slots are even with his shoulders - just wanted to mention since I have been asked about it.

DS last fall - I love this picture

DS in the EFTA when we first got it. I love this car seat.

I love seeing all these safe babies!! Look at how cute and tiny Cj was..I love his little devile suit! Snowbird, I can't believe your DS outgrowing the SS1 at 11 months! That's crazy! He's going to make extended harnessing hard on you!

He actually still fit the SS1 with about 1/2" growing room at 13mos, but we'd switched him out of it by then. I suspect he would've fit until around 14mos, but I'd passed the seat on to a friend already so don't have any pictures after this one... The SS1 shell is deceptive and kids grow but they don't change how they fit the seat.

Here's the last pic I took of him where he's close to outgrowing, but not quite there yet:

His legs have sprouted a lot, but he is above the 2nd from bottom slot in the MA and above the 3rd harness slot in the radian - has been since before January. (We moved him to the EFTA in January and he hasn't used either seat since then, but that's the height he used in the other seats before the change.

I'm not too worried about the EH'ing though, his EFTA has lots of growing room right now and who knows what might come available by the time he's outgrowing that.

Shouldn't those straps be at or BELOW her shoulders RF?

^ I was thinking the same thing. Those straps should really be in the lower slot since she is RF
