So my 3 year old is in one, and it seems like the straps are too close together. They rub into his neck really bad and he tells me that it hurts. I do have the pads for them, but I'll have to find them. Does anyone else have a problem with it?

No, we haven't had that problem. We do use the straps though.

We don't have this problem either. We have the pads on Josh's straps though.

maybe I have the clip a little too high which is pulling them closer together.

I use the pads that came with it and he hasn't complained.

Ditto every one else, we use the pads and no problem. The chest clip should be at armpit level.
