I hate hate hate the latch belt that came with this seat. It's got a button to loosen the strap to take it out, and I cannot get it tight enough. It's like it sticks. Anyone having the same problem? I wanted to put the latch belt from DS's old Graco SafeSeat 2, but was told it was a no no.

I love it, and have never had a problem! We've been using our Evenflo Triumph (though ours is the DLX model, not the newer Advance model) for the past 3 years.

When you're tightening the strap, once you feel like it's "stuck", stop and use your hand to pull out the straps fromy our child's tummy. Sometimes it looks like the lower buckles are going into my child's stomach instead of staying flat with her body. If I move them (pull away from child's body), I can get it a little bit tighter.

Also, when tightening the car seat... if you do the pinch test, you can see if the straps are tight enough. If your fingers can not pinch the straps, and they slip off... it's tight enough!

If you have to fight it for another click, it's probably already tight enough. Try the pinch test!

Also, here is a link you can read! http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=6...ight=pinch+test
