Hello ladies - I'm hoping you can help me.

I'm considering the Britax Frontier for my son who is about to turn three but he is small - he is only 27 pounds and he's pretty short - he still wears 18 month pants. I was looking at the Regent but it seems so huge and I've heard that it doesn't work well in a 2008 Jeep Cherokee because of the head rests in the cherokee- I hear its too high and the headrests don't come out and they jet forward a bit.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the Frontier and an infant seat will both fit in the bank of my jeep okay. We have a baby due in June and I want to be able to fit both okay. I wonder then if the Frontier will fit okay with a convertible seat like the Marathon once baby get a bit bigger.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

We have that combo right now, and it fits great. We just got a mid-sized SUV and have room for someone to sit in the middle. In our small SUV we traded in, they fit fine, just less room in the middle.

Great thanks! I guess I'm concerned that the Frontier will be too tall to fit on the side seats like the Regent because of the darn head rests in the Jeep. But I wonder if the Frontier in the middle and the infant seat on the side would still work?

Thanks,
Keri

I thought about trying that, but putting the infant seat in the middle, so we can get the side seat down when we use the 3rd row. I can let you know how it works if we do try it!
I haven't had any problems with the headrest. The Frontier is much shorter than the Regent though. I compared them in the store before buying that's one thing I noticed. I'm pretty sure it's even a few inches short than the Marathon we have. Check the Britax website though, it has dimensions for all of the seats on there, which I used to compare thier widths.

Thanks so much for your comments. I am going to order the Frontier and try it....there is always the option to return it I guess! And I've got time until two seats will be in there. Plus I'm going to try to have a certified installer put them in so I know there in the best possible way!
