My oldest has a Nautilus, and my youngest has an EFTA. Lately, when I take just my oldest somewhere he has been wanting to sit in his brothers seat. It does go up to 50 pounds (he is 43), but how do I know if he is too tall for it? The straps are at their highest setting and still slightly about his shoulders.

He'll be too big for it (forward facing) when one of the following happens (whichever happens first)

~ His shoulders are above the top slot
~ The top of his ears go above the shell
~ He exceeds the weight limit

Otherwise, he's good to go

If you're not sure, you can always post a picture and we can tell you either way!
