I'm getting a car seat that can be rear facing up to 40lbs..
My daughter is almost 6 months old and 20lbs..her infant seat only goes to 22lbs!
The thing is..we go places a couple times a week in vehicles other than the one the car seat will be in..
I'm getting this seat;
Walmart.com: Graco - MyRIDE 65 Convertible Baby Car Seat, Alma: Car Seats

My question..
If you need to use another vehicle..do toddler/child seats tend to be easy or difficult to install in another vehicle?
I'm 18, but don't have a license, so I tend to either go somewhere with my mom, or friends/family. Usually it's various friends to places like the grocery store, walmart, etc..
I'm sad to say goodbye to the infant seat since it was so easy to use..the bigger seat is very intimidating!

My BFF has the MyRide for her twins and it's a pretty easy install so I'm sure you'll be fine once you know how to install it. I would go here to find a tech in your area who can show you how to install in whichever vehicle you will use the most. This will also give you the confidence to know how to install in other vehicles when needed as well

Did you know that 95% of children are not properly restrained in a vehicle?
Make sure your child is not one of them!

Thanks for the link! There's someone in my town (a police officer) who is certified..I'll have to ask him for some tips/help on installing it!

LOL on the topic of rear facing.. I had told my mom that I wanted to keep Ashlynn rear facing until she hits the 40lbs..and she FREAKED. She doesn't believe in rear facing that long, and said that they are made to face forward for a reason!
But thankfully she doesn't bother me about it, just states her opinion and moves on.
