It would be a cross between the Radian and the Frontier 85, with added features of the Swedish high weight rear facing seats. It would also be affordable, and have a 10 year life. Oh, and it would come in purple!

This sounds about right for me too! A nice purple, not like the Graco Nautilus one LOL.

And it would also come in some nice boy prints other than black.

It would be a true 3-in-1 seat that can RF to age 3, harness to 65lbs, and booster PROPERLY up to 100lbs. Totally impractical, but a girl can dream.

Oh, and CHEAP covers to suit my mood. $50 per cover is just crazy!

Not realistic, but something smaller front to back RFing and side to side so it doesn't seem to take up so much of the backseat of a smaller car.

Mine would be a Lego car seat. At the beginning it would be small like a true fit, but snap into a stroller. Then you could add pieces to it, so it would still be small front to back for RFing for a while. I would think it could have two attachments for RFing, so you had totally doesn't interfere with front seats, and then you could add another piece if you wanted to ERF longer and were willing to eat dashboard for a while (but you wouldn't have to do it till say 2 or 3.) Ideally after the infant stage it would have a base with an anti-rebound bar. It would also be as narrow as a Radian. So, I think it would have 4 stages, infant like seat, small RFing (ideally to ~2.5 years or so) larger RFing and FFing to ~ the height of a Radian.

I'm okay with buying a separate booster if I have to, or that could be added too.

Oh, and they would have a web site where you could create a customer cover for it from hundreds of fabrics and trims.
