DH and I are most likely going to be TTC some time early/middle next year. I was planning on skipping the infant seat and going with a convertible. We have a 3 in 1 that has about 3 more years until it expires, so I want to use it. Anyone know rather this seat typically fits newborns?? I have small babies...Christian was 6lbs 2oz and 20 inches at birth.

If not, does the MyRide fit newborns??

I know the MyRide does, I'm unsure of the Eddie Bauer though!

Good luck TTC!

I don't think the 3 in 1's are good for newborns but I do know for sure that the Myrides are. Someone else will pop in and have better facts than my memory though.

Thank you, ladies. I wasn't sure myself. Honestly, the seat my be expired before I have the baby anway, so it will be a good excuse to get a new seat...

Just checked the measurements, and it is a NO on using the Eddie Bauer for an infant. It has the same lowest shoulder height as a Britax.

Thank you, Amy. I'll hold on to the seat and hopefully BRU will do 25% trade in like they just did, while I'm pregnant so I can get a different seat.
