First a mini vent! Mom thinks we put our LO in her seat too tight and it hurts her 'wee wee' (her words, not mine). Well no matter what I say, including ' the seat is useless if she's not strapped in properly,' she still cringes when I tighten the seat, even though my dd never complains in her seat.

Anyway, we are getting a seat for my mothers car and I want a car seat tech to install it and then show my mom how to use it...plus explain why the straps need to be tight.

So, does anyone have a suggestion on how to find a tech in our area? safekids.org listed NOTHING!

Use this website, 6 of them pop up (a few from your local police department, state police, and an independent one).

Thanks, I ended up finding one on carseat.org (not sure how i didn't know of that site before). She's coming over to the house tomorrow. Funny, when I used that link before I entered my zip code and it didn't work, but the state and address did....just a little fyi for the future if you know of anyone having problems with that search site.
