Hello everyone. I am looking at carseats and have no clue what to get. I have a pretty large back seat, so space is not that much if a problem but I really don't know what is the best as far as safety right now. My daughter is 6 months and and will be refacing until she is 2.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thank you, tasha_mae, for my very special siggy!

There are so many car seats on the market, and they're all equally safe. What is your budget for a car seat? How tall is your daughter, and how much does she weigh?

My biggest suggestion is to head out to the stores in your area, and mess around with the car seats. Get a feel for what you like and what you don't like.

I have been researching car seats for my baby due in December, and I have also found that are all about equally safe due to such high safety standards. I am personally looking at travel systems because I also need a stroller. Since car space and safety are somewhat irrelevant for you at this time, you will probably be fine looking at any rear-facing car seats. Does cost or appearance matter to you? Maybe those will be deciding factors, or ease of installation.
