i can't believe my grandfather is turning 100 years old this Sunday!
This man has been though everything and is still ticking!

In Jan 2008 we had no word from him and no one could find him. found out that his appendix had burst and he was on the floor for 2 days unable to move or scream for help. He was 99 years old.

He has seen every grandchild (5) have a baby or two

This man takes the bus and has a garden in his backyard. Well he lives on his own in an apt building and grows peach, apricot, plums, flowers,... on land in the back.

I had to tell you all.

I feel blessed to have my children know him well at least be in pictures with them. I never knew my great grand parents.

ah, so sweet! I think it's great for our kids to know there great grandparents too! I remember one great grandma and I think she must have passed when I in jr. high.

As of now, Kris and I are very blessed too because we have 5 grandparents that we visit regularly and whom our boys have grown to love as well. None of them are close to 100 yet! That's awesome!
