Do you have kids that get a week or two off for fall break at school?

how do you manage that with your jobs?

This is this first year they went on this "balanced schedul" and of course I just went back to work after being off for a year plus.

I was working two jobs but just recently went down to one. Both were part time during the day. So for the boys' fall break i asked off for two weeks (unpaid of course ) for one of my jobs and the other one i was going to work since it was newer and only two days a week. My friend whome lives across the street watched the boys for me the first week on t and th but the second week i quit my job. I dident like it much and was thinking of quitting it anyway. so now that i had a whole week off, i miss being at home. lol i know im lucky though because a lot of people had to find child care for two weeks and i know that can get expensive.

we go back to school and work next week. blah

Maggie's in preschool, so at the moment when kids are out of regular school, I just have to sign her up for care early enough to make sure I don't take a day off. When she does go to regular school, one of us, or both of us will take the time off work to stay home. There aren't a lot of alternative care options for us.
