I got the results of my progesterone levels back today!! It was 33!!! I think thats kinda high though!! Anyone have experiance with progesterone levels??? My DR said he wanting them to be between 10 and 15 to indicate ovulation!!! So this confirms ovulation!!!!!! I just wonder why it is so high?? Maybe, just maybe, theres a baby in there!!!

That's a great number and it may be a BFP. My CD21 labs were 14 and 18 with meds, so 30 is excellent. Good luck!!!

In my experience, the higher the number the more eggs ovulated. So if your Dr. wanted between 10-15 that is probably per egg. So I would guess you ovulated 2 eggs!!

I had that same number several months ago and all it meant was that I ovulated 2 eggies.

I hope you do get a BFP with it though but don't put to much stake on it... also, be prepared for pregnancy symptoms since the progestrone does cause some of them.

Without meds, my Day 21 Progesterone was 3. With Clomid, my first level on Day 21 was 8. On my 2nd Clomid cycle with Metformin, my Progesterone was 39. I got pregnant that cycle!!!

That is a great number. Unfortunately I've had the experience that after my 1st cycle of injections where u/s showed no dominant follies I triggered and my CD21 progesterone was 76. I did not get pg but I really believe that's because DH and I were fighting and did not BD at the right time.

Good luck to you!

Here are the "normal" ranges that were printed on my lab results when I did the progesterone test.

Follicular: 0.2 - 1.4 (this is for pre-o)
Luteal: 3.3 - 25.6 (this is for right after-o)
Mid-Luteal: 4.4 - 28.0 (this is for between o and AF)

Pregnancy 1st trimester: 11.2 - 90.0
Pregnancy 2nd trimester: 25.5 - 89.4
Pregnancy 3rd trimester: 48.4 - 422.5

Your high number seems very promising!! As in, possible-1st-trimester-promising! Good luck!
