Well with this being cycle #21 and my 3rd round of Clomid, my OB/GYN has wanted me to assume care with an RE. I have been pushing this aside NOT wanting to do that at all for several months... I finally had a talk with DH & he is agreeable to going to see what the RE has to say & discuss options. This is a major huge ordeal ...... DH has always been one to have the attitude of whatever happens, will happen and is laid back about it all. He also greatly dislikes doctors, going to appts. anything to do with that for other reasons so this is a big deal that he has agreed to even go. I have been on such a roller coaster of emotions, more-so the past several months & just want to take control & action towards something so deep in my heart. I am tired of waiting and if I have the means to get help, I want it. It makes me scared to death & I know that whatever the RE offers, its our choice to decide what to do. I am relieved this morning knowing DH & I had that talk & he told me he would go to the RE appt. with me.
I never thought it would come to this, I am excited, nervous, scared & everything else under the sun. I am just waiting to hear back from the RE nurse now, when our 1st appt will be. On top of all this, DH threw out the idea of pursuing adoption as well. I still am overwhelmed with that, I feel like I know a little about infertility from spending countless hrs. online but dont even know where to start as far as adoption goes. Just trying to take things one day at a time. DH says we can do both (see an RE & also go the adoption route) because they both take a great deal of time to get things going. I just dont know though, feeling over loaded at the moment But at the same time want to jump for joy knowing we are moving ahead with things

How exciting! I remember when I had my first RE appointment, it felt like we were starting over TTC in a way. I hope that your RE appointment will give you a great plan, and that we'll be celebrating your BFP very soon!
