I haven't used OPKs in probably 18 months!

I can always tell when I am Oing b/c I get lots of EWCM for several days.

But this cycle, since things might be different from my chemical pregnancy, I want to use OPKs again to make sure. Sooo...remind me...do I use them once or twice a day? Same time of day, right? I remember that afternoon is better, is that correct?

I am going to start using them in a few days. Do I count the day I started spotting as CD1 or the day I started actually bleeding? My nurse said, like with a normal AF, to count the day I started bleeding as CD1. But she reiterated that this is not a normal cycle.

I'd count full flow as day 1...

As for the OPK's, I use them 1/day at early afternoon, but then when I see them starting to fade in, I use them 2ce/day (once mid afternoon, once mid morning) to make sure I catch the surge. If I have a TON sitting around, I'll even test 3x! My surge is sometims very short and so I have to test at least 2ce. I also use the internet cheapies, so I'm not using the expensive smiley face ones.

Hat's off to Vicki for my cute siggy, thank you!

Ditto...I use them once a day until I know I'm getting close, then 2 times a day just to be sure. Good Luck!

I do once a day in the afternoon but have often heard of ladies who do them twice a day so that they don't miss their surge
