It's the Monday before Christmas What do you still have to do in preparation for the "Big Day"?

All I have to do is wrap my dad's present and my FILs and I'm D.O.N.E....I've got it pretty easy since I don't celebrate Xmas.

I'm just spending the week doing laundry and finishing up projects around the house (getting ready for the Home Study!) I'm way more excited about that than I am Christmas!!!

We are not buying presents this year. We called our parents and told them for Christmas we are saving up all our money so we could give them grand kids sometime in the next year! They were fine with that.

So we just have to show up and eat food... yummy!!!!

Yet another wonderful siggy by HeatherW.... thank you so much!!!

That's awesome Kari I don't usually buy my parents gifts because they have told us that grandkids are more important, but they've done so much for us that I thought I'd switch it up this year and get them something....DH's parents always expect something....so unfortunately, I had no choice....bleh....

I have to make sure the turkey is thawed completely....last year it didn't thaw all the way in the time that I had allotted and I ended up having to get a knife and chisel out the giblets from the inside of the turkey! Never again!!!

I've got all the presents bought! Now, I am just needing to do the next two days of work catch up from the San Fran trip and then Wed., if weather allows, DH and I are going to play around... probably hit a few casinos in the area and play some black jack!!! All grandparents will be in town, so they can babysit, so YAY, we get some relaxation time right before Christmas! YEEEE HAW!!!
