So I just got back a negative BETA on my third cycle of IUI with injectables and my Husband and I have decided to move on to IVF. We are saving and have been saving for a while now and we are hoping by summer we can do this...but I have been going to a wonderful doctor that I do like, but there is one other office as well in Orlando and I am torn because I have heard gret things about that doctor too...how did you pick or research which doctor to go with when moving on...did anyone out there get second and third opinions? Their stats show they are about the same as far as success rates go.....so much info its overwhelming!

Doing some double dose rounds of Chlomid in the meantime so at least I feel like we are doing something until we can do the invitro! Who knows...maybe we will get lucky!

well i have military insurance..so i basically went with who they gave me..but he is really good..also there arent very many REs in my area! however...our insurance does not cover this so we are going to him because he has been doing this for a very long time and is a very good dr! Since you are like me, paying outta pocket..i would do your research..you are spending all this money...good luck and hope you can find the right one! good luck!

We did IVF in Dallas when we conceived my daughter, and now we live in Nevada and are going to start IVF in May. We are between flying back to Dallas to use the same RE (whom we loved!), or trying a doctor here who is supposed to be good. We are leaning towards going back to Dallas, though, because I think the right doctor is the one you feel most comfortable with, who listens to your concerns, and who cares about your struggles (so long as success rates are the same). I'd say, go with your gut instinct since you have all ready done a lot of the research.

We only have one fertility clinic here and you have to be referred to it. I'm lucky because they have a great reputation.
