...but to have another lap!!
I went to see my RE yesterday, CD11 for an u/s, and I had one folli on my right that measured in at 16mm. So I need to wait till thursday am to have my Ovidrell trigger. We are doing another TI cycle but it's probably our last. RE found an 18mm cyst on my right ovary, which could be nothing (just hemorrhagic cyst) or could be endo again!

So if I don't get pregnant this cycle, I'll have to go for another u/s on CD3-4-or-5 to check if cyst has gone, and if it hasn't then it will have to be removed.
My RE has been wanting to do a lap ever since we met him the first time, but since I'd had one a year before and things hadn't been working since, I've been very reluctant to let them open me up again!!! but it looks like I'm not going to have a choice anymore.
DH is happy about it as he believes it's the only way forward, so at least one of us is optimistic!

Another good thing is that my RE is going to be away for a couple of weeks at the beginning of my next cycle, so I am having to see one of his 2 colleagues who have an amazing reputation, and as I've been wanting to get a second opinion on treatment options in our case, I think this is a great opportunity. So I'm looking forward to that at least.

Thanks for reading ladies, really appreciate it. You are an amazing support group!!!

Hope you don't have to go in for another lap - no fun. Good luck - maybe you'll get your BFP this cycle!

Can't the Dr. aspirate the cyst instead of doing a lap? I had a 20mm cyst aspirated yesterday and everything went fine.

Might be worth asking the Dr.

Thanks ladies for your support. I really hope I get my BFP this cycle! it feels a bit like a deja vu; the last time I found out I had a cyst was at the same time in my cycle and I was told I'd need a lap or BCP if I didn't get a BFP. But I did get a BFP! So I'm really hoping the same thing happens again, (minus the m/c of course).

buckandkelly1- I've never heard of aspirating cysts! it definitely sounds less painful. I could ask my Dr about it, but I doubt whether he'd be keen, as he has been nagging me for a while already to do another lap, and I guess this is going to be his good excuse to push for it even more...
