I haven't been able to post much because I no longer have a computer and have to sneak to use the computer at work. But lots of baby dust to all!!

Yesterday I had my 2nd IUI after stimming on Follistrim for 9 days. My estrogen was 1250. Everything looked really good.
When we were going to start the IUI I asked about my DH's sperm count. 1.3 Million post wash!!!

DH has watched his diet, drank more water and cut back all fast food/alcohol. He had 12.4 million post wash last iui. I do not understand how it can change like that!

I really hope this cycle is not a bust. Do you girls think 1.3 is ok? I mean I know it only takes one, but it's hard not to worry about it.

I heard anything over one million was good for an IUI!! Try not to worry about it too much. We have had them flucuate(sp) a lot too and I am not sure why. I always wonder how do they really know the count of the tiny sperm there??? Good Luck!

It has been a while since my IUIs, and now I can't remember what DH's numbers were, but I know they varied a LOT from time to time. Their counts can rise or fall based on their hydration, their nerves, their diet...so many factors. I know that in my RE's office, if the count was too low, they would have cancelled the IUI, so they must've thought that the number was okay!

Good luck...I hope that this cycle is the one that works for you

Thanks Melissa, I feel better. I think I've decided not to stress about it. I'm very luck to have JM and all you wonderful ladies, it's the only thing that's kept me sane recently

Think of it this way - there's over 1million swimmers to 1 egg. The odds are still pretty good!

Best of luck to you!
