ok, so some background first...

yesterday i had to take gustavo (the younger of our two dogs) to the vet because he was having issues climbing the stairs and jumping. they gave him pain killers and he now has an appt with an ortho surgeon on tuesday. our dogs are like our babies, seriously. seeing him not well hurts my heart.

we still have a few months left with our peak-season at work and we're all feeling tired and burnt out.

i have my operative hysteroscopy on thursday. i've had a lot going on so i haven't thought too much about it but i know it's still on my mind all the same.

so... keeping all this in mind...

for the past few weeks i've been waking up in the morning with a REALLY stiff neck. strange because i've had this pillow for two or three years and it has never bothered my neck before.

yesterday i had the strangest headache.... i've never had one like this before. it felt like there was a strange pressure in my head. like my brain was expanding and pushing against the walls of my cranium. there was no throbbing, no pulsing or quick sharp pains. just a constant feeling of pressure against my skull from the inside. i made the mistake of looking up online this sort of headache and it was a BAD, BAD idea. everything that came up was about symptoms for a brain tumor. of course, the websites (all medical) said that you could have this sort of headache without having a brain tumor. and another symptom? a stiff neck. i'm a little paranoid anyway because my dad died of cancer and my mom has an illness as well. let's just say i was feeling VERY paranoid last night.

luckily i didn't have that sort of headache today so feel a little ridiculous for being so worried last night.

anyone else get a little paranoid about stuff like this?
thank you bonnie (cavewoman) for my beautiful siggy!

cycles 1-16: TTC naturally, all BFNs
cycle 17 & 18: not TTC (due to diagnostic tests)
october 14: RE appt with follow-up hysteroscopy + saline sonogram... TUBES ARE CLEAR!

cycle 22: another natural cycle, but preparing for our first IUI with injectables for cycle 23! FINALLY!!!
FEBRUARY 10th... our very first when we least expected it!!!

october 26th... our little miracle arrived via c-section at 12:19pm weighing 3.920 kilos! we are in love.

Wow Amy you have a lot on your plate. *Hugs*
I can relate to the animals as out babies we recently lost two of our kitties within 6 months of each other and it was very hard. As far as your pillow and stiff neck I believe the average life span of a pillow is 1-3 years 5 years MAX. Dh and I replace our pillows every 1 to 2 years to keep things fresh and not smooshy lol. Maybe try replacing it see if it helps. Stress can cause headaches and it sounds like you have a lot going on. Im glad to hear your head doesnt hurt today though. I hope things lighten up for you soon.
And yes lol I get paranoid as well when it comes to symptoms I have then read about...I really try not to google things when I have a problem lol it only leads to fear.

Ooooo, yes, I do!
My husband always makes fun of me...He says I can turn a stubbed-toe into foot cancer in my mind within a few minutes of googling. lol
You are NOT alone!

I hope that life starts to become a little less hectic for you soon!

I get that way too Amy, I think I get it from my dad because he does the same thing. I think maybe the stress your under might have something to do with the headache and hopefully after your test on thursday some of the stress will be gone. Feel better soon hun!!! I hope gustavo feels better and that everything at the vet goes well!

** Thank you Oona for the awesome siggy**
