I am new here, and was just diagnosed with PCOS. I knew I had it years before, just never went to be tested. I am 24 and just got married May 16, hence the name LOL. I am still a college student but hopefully I will be finished by June 2011, and if not then at least by this time nest year. I have lots of hobby's, but my number one favorite thing to do sit down in front of the boob tube and watch Criminal Minds. A very close 2nd would be golfing, which I have just discovered in the last month, and can say happily that I can kick my husbands butt! So enough about me...here's what I am on...

Medroxyprogesterone 10 mg for 10 days (one pill left and still no period)
and after I start days 3-7 2.5 Femara.

Anyone out there been on these and had success?

Hi! I am just starting out with MA, too, but I'm taking Clomid, not Femara. Also, my anniversary date is also May 16 (of 2009)

I hope the Femara works for you right away!

Just wanted to say hi and welcome. I don't have any experience with femera, only clomid. I know a bunch of ladies have had luck with it - hopefully they'll chime in! Like Christa said, the girls here are amazing and so incredibly supportive, so jump on in with questions or comments. I hope your stay with us is a short one and you get that BFP soon!

Hi and welcome! Sorry this is so delayed... I was quite busy this last week with a fundraiser garage sale. I'm Kari and DH is Brian. We have been married for a little over 3 years and are still waiting for our 1st child to come into our lives. We had gone through a little over 2 years of MA treatments (I also have PCOS) before deciding to pursue adoption. We are currently 31 weeks Paper-pregnant...

I'm a bit biased, but this board truly is the best on JM! I hope you stick around and please feel free to jump right in!!

Yet another wonderful siggy by HeatherW.... thank you so much!!!
