So I'm pretty frustrated... I am supposed to ovulate this morning (had my ovidrel shot on Tuesday night) and DH just could not be ready. We tried a few times and it was only getting worse. It's obvious he cannot perfrom under pressure LOL So this injectible cycle has been wasted. I'm thinking of not telling him about when I ovulate or anything in the future so he can be more relaxed, but also, do you guys know if it is possible to do the trigger shot in the morning, so the BD would have to happen at night?
Also, any vitamins or natural remedies that you could recommend for DH?

My husband could not perform either this cycle. I am pretty sure we are out seeing how bad his SA came back. Plus I have NO preggo symptoms. Honestly, and I do NOT mean to offend (so please tell me if I am offending anyone in anyway), I have always tried *coughs* "movies" to help my hubby perform. It helps maybe 90% of the time that he has issues. If we watch them together, it helps even more. Maybe give that a try today?

I always had my trigger shots in the morning. I would go in to see my specialist at 7:30am or so for my ultrasound, I would have big eggs and then she would give me the shot.

I was actually thinking of movies, maybe this evening we can try something... I just feel like if he's not ready, he's just not ready...
I'll definitely ask for a morning trigger shot next time... Mornings are just not the best time for us. Especially with our daughter around - she was watching a movie this morning, but it's still better to try when she's asleep in the evening.
Even DH mentioned that maybe I shouldn't tell him when I'm about to ovulate in the future so he doesn't feel under pressure.

Im sorry! That has happened to my DH a couple of times (although, not on IUI or medicated cycles) that has got to be so frustrating! But I totally agree that its got to be the pressure of it all and maybe it would be best not to tell him all thats going on and that you HAVE to bd next time around, kwim?
Good Luck!!

Its great to know we all go through this at some point. I try not to tell DH when I am ovulating, but he kind of figures it out - although I have a very high sex drive on any given day, it goes into overdrive during O week. I haven't gone the movie route yet, but I do pull out all the stops and try all his favorite tricks - mood lighting, "fun" outfits, even silly things like bringing up the trash can for him. For my DH its not so much that he can't perform, he cant seem to finish under pressure. Good Luck....I hope you two can find a way to make it work.
