So to ease my mind, I went for my beta today and the nurse's message said that it is "very low" along with very low progesterone, so AF should be here soon.

Thanks for all of your support in my Possible BFP thread, but I guess it was a false alarm. I'm taking a break this cycle and will likely try injectibles with my June cycle.

Well of course it's very possible that it would be "very low" your only like 12-14DPO right? You need to find out what the number is!

I totally agree! Did they give you what your "very low" numbers are? Are you taking progesterone after ovulation each month or no?

Agree with everyone above...my betas were "very low" as well after IVF, but then they started climbing!

(((HUGS))) I'm so sorry that you didn't get a big number...it seems like insult to injury that you have to go thru this after everything else you have been through.

Try to stay positive....I think Drs try to err on the side of caution...for themselves.. or they think somehow it will make us feel better.. but they on't realize how crazy it can drive us or how worried it can make us .. In my case, I staid worried my entire last pregnancy because of supposed low betas....Do your best to stay positive :-) many a "low beta" is now a bouncing laughing toddler .. Drs do not know all ... and.. they really should have given you the numbers !!!Good luck !!

Please don't lose hope. My dr told me I was going to miscarry for sure because my beta was so low. He didn't realize I was obly 11DPO the day of the test and assumed I was 15DPO. My very low for sure going to miscarry beta is my now 16 month old daughter.

AF arrived full force yesterday - I didn't bother calling for the numbers bc I'd be googling myself into insanity. DH and I will be seeking another opinion and possibly doing IVF this summer if we can find a way to finance it. We convinced ourselves that IUI + injectibles is probably just throwing money out the window (again).

Look into a financing company called ARC for your IVF. They exclusively finance fertility treatments. It is comparable to buying a car. Depending on your credit, their rates go from 5% to 18% and they have terms up to 7 years I believe. It depends on the package you go with. They are financing our IVF.
