Hello everyone! I'm trying to figure out where I belong. lol

DH and I have been TTC for 10 months and we discovered last month that he has low testosterone. He was prescribed clomid and now has started to take testosterone injections. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with clomid for men or even testosterone issues and could offer any insight.

Hi Jen

My husband has low testosterone (180-260 usually), half the normal sperm count, and a thicker than normal viscosity. He was prescribed clomid, and we were pregnant a couple of months later. My RE said it normally takes about three months before you will see an improvement in numbers. I don't know about that aspect bc my husband doesn't normally remember to take it anymore (so frustrating!), but getting pregnant, though it ended in a chronic ectopic, was reassuring. HTH and GL

Thank you for the welcomes and well wishes!

Thank you Lisa for sharing your experience. I'm so sorry that your pregnancy was ectopic. It is reassuring to hear that it worked and at least an estimated amount of time. I also share your frustration with my DH. He nevers asks questions when he goes to the doctor and wants to "wait" to do a sperm analysis. His test level was a 200 also.
